Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is all set to unveil the Redmi Y3 on April 24. The company has already confirmed that this smartphone will boast a 32MP selfie camera and a waterdrop notch display. Now, it has revealed some more details about the selfie-centric handset.

Redmi India has shared a video on Twitter teasing 4,000 mAh battery on the Redmi Y3. This is a massive upgrade over the 3,080 mAh cell that ships with its predecessor - Redmi Y2.

In addition to that, the company has also posted a photo which shows the textured back of Redmi Y3 with a gradient design. The smartphone is already listed on Amazon.in with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and dual rear cameras.

The Amazon listing also confirms that the Y3 will come with splash protection so that you don't have to worry about the occasional water spills.

We are still five days away from the launch, so expect to hear more about this smartphone before it's unveiled.
